Delta Aquariid Meteor Showers

July 29-30: Delta Aquariid Meteor shower all night, but best time will be around 3am when Aquarius will be about 30° above the horizon and due south. There may be 25 meteors per hour. This shower’s origin was the breakup of a comet. These sand-grain-sized particles enter the atmosphere at modest speed of 25 miles/sec.
