Photograph the Stars

Learn to photograph the stars at our Crestone Astrophotography Workshop, hosted in partnership with Colorado Stargazing; Experience the Night, a comprehensive stargazing resource currently promoting ten incredible stargazing locations throughout Colorado.  Crestone is among the ten featured locations, and all of these communities are unified by their high elevation and low humidity, allowing for some of the best stargazing in the world.  Colorado Stargazing:  Experience the Night can be found on Colorado.com/Colorao Stargazing.

The Crestone Astrophotography workshop, with professional landscape photographer Seth Hamel, will teach you how to take your own amazing photographs of the Milky Way.  Anyone with a willingness to learn can obtain the knowledge to take their own incredible MilkyWay photos. This workshop is open to every level of photographer, from first time camera users all the way up to advanced photographers. The skills taught will be catered specifically to your skill level during this hands-on, in-the-field photography workshop.  No experience is necessary, and it is hoped that you will join us for this wonderful adventure.
