Moffat Boys Basketball:

The Moffat Cowboys have finished the regular season with a 13-6 record; solidifying themselves a place in the regional playoffs. The Cowboys most recently faced the Sierra Grande Panthers in a district play-in tournament. Unfortunately, the team came short, taking a 48-43 loss in a nail biting game.

Despite the loss, the cowboys will still advance into the 1A Regional Playoffs, resulting in them ranking in the top 32 teams.

The cowboys are taking the underdog route and are looking for an upset against number 4 ranked Stratton Eagles. If they win they will advance into the regional finals, against a TBD team. The cowboys are confidant, ready, and will be sure to play a great game.

Moffat Girlsā€™ Basketball

The Moffat girlsā€™ team showed tremendous efforts in their last stretch of the regular season. In their most recent game the Cowboys played the Sierra Grande Panthers in the district play-in tournament. The team battled hard but was unable to come up on top taking a 50-12 loss.

Regardless of the outcome the team still played tremendously and have continued to do so throughout the season. Although it might have been a bit of a rough season for the cowboys, they always played with passion and tenacity.

They never backed down and never gave up, putting everything on the floor. They finished the season with a record of 4-14, and are in high hopes of improving that next year.
