This month we explore how our news has been critically affected by H.R.5736, aka the Smith-Mundt Modernization Act of 2012 (SMMA).
This law permits the federal government to feed you its agendas through press, paper publications, radio, motion picture, the internet, and other information media including social media, using information centers and paid instructors to intentionally influence public opinion with a wide range of agendas. SMMA was buried in the 2012 National Defense Authorization Act for good reason, as it promotes paid alliances between the media and the U.S. State Department’s (USSD) “partners” that are NGOs and nonprofits — mostly remaining anonymous. When serving a “national security interest,” they must all propagate the same story/narrative to “save democracy.” SMMA provides ample funding with incentives to its “partners” with a specialized immunity from liability. These entities are also compensated very well, thanks to an annual budget of over $700 million in tax dollars appropriated by the SMMA.
The USSD and the media got in trouble after selling the Iraq WMD (weapons of mass destruction) lies that were dutifully repeated by most U.S. media in what David Corn, Mother Jones magazine’s Washington bureau chief, called “part of an orchestrated campaign that effectively galvanized public opinion and, in the process, led the nation to war under decidedly false pretenses.” In his March 2023 article, Corn added: “It should not be forgotten that this debacle of death and destruction was the result of a carefully executed crusade of disinformation and lies.”
It is estimated that 3.6 million people have died indirectly in post-9/11 war zones, bringing the total death toll to at least 4.5-4.7 million and counting. The U.S. federal price tag for the post-9/11 wars is over $8 trillion. https://watson.brown.edu/costsofwar/.
The bought-out media is now inculcating folks with the “new normal” to divide and conquer with a multi-pronged technocratic dogma. Our local bureaucracy, including county government, must retain control over the monopolistic so-called elite if we want a healthy future. Why is this so important?
Top-down methodologies have fooled and forced people to fall in line and pay the price throughout history. Inform yourself ASAP, or techniques to create cognitive dissonance can set in.
If you learn to avoid these techniques and advance to recognizing propagandized news, you can resolutely reject it. Have we learned yet? “Follow-the-science” propagandists studied and continue to deploy fear-based tactics from long ago, leading to endless colonization, genocide, and a general war on life.
Recently we were “informed” by news and public health outlets, via the WHO and CDC, that the world was facing a pandemic akin to the Spanish Flu of 1918, necessitating that we cease all social activity and lock down, and then receive an experimental treatment. The Texas Attorney General has filed a lawsuit against Pfizer for “false, deceptive, and misleading acts and practices,” referring to the company’s November 2020 statement that the vaccine was 95% effective.
A spokesperson for the FDA, asked for comment on the lawsuit, told Newsweek it “does not comment on possible, pending, or ongoing litigation.” The absolute reduction risk (ARR) shows that the vaccines reduce absolute risk by just 1% (200/20,000 = 1%). In the case of Pfizer, the difference was 0.85% between the vaccine and placebo groups. https://health-desk.org. We the people are capable of doing our own research and choosing our own method to live or die by. Even still, we men and women raising our families on the land will keep faith. We will not be taxed and fined out of our homes with new codes of law or sickened by unwholesome food. We choose wisdom over fear!
Stay meek and live to tell the tale with mind, body and spirit!
