Deciding direction

It’s an election year. American voters will choose our leader and representative to the other nations of the world.

There are people who ignore this right. Doing so is still a choice. Refraining from doing so is also deciding the direction of how we are governed.

This is a bit scary since we witnessed the fragility of democracy on Jan. 6, 2021.

That day, a deathly fracture challenged the outcome of “We the People” by “Me the Person.” Tranquility, humility, and congratulatory concession were absent the weeks immediately after the 2020 election and the 2021 inauguration. Currently this is still present.

The campaign for President of the United States will be feverish in 2024. That level of energy is necessary for a campaign to grow the registration of voters and increase the importance and participation in the voting process.

It is my hope that a sweeping amount of people will inspire those eligible to register as a voter to do so. I also encourage those who are currently registered to cast their vote.

Participation in this powerful freedom strengthens the first three words in The Constitution of the United States.
