Kinney

Editor’s note: The Crestone Eagle is running all letters of support it received for county commissioner candidate Adam Kinney and incumbent Tom McCracken as of press time. They are presented in no particular order.

Dear editor,

We would like to voice our support for Adam Kinney for Saguache County Commissioner. We’ve known Adam for over 20 years and have seen how hard he works for our community.  He is a small business owner and a family man.

He has been involved in local government for many years, was a firefighter, and volunteered for many community projects. He has experience with small government finances, budgeting, planning, and governance. He cares about the water in our high desert water usage, water rights, and sustainability for the future. Very importantly, he is a leader that seeks to bring people together. He listens to people and their concerns and is a thoughtful problem solver. We’ve always admired how he gets involved and takes the time to learn about issues that affect our future. Adam is bringing younger people into our political process and encouraging participation. At the county Democratic assembly, he received 30 of the 50 delegates from both young and older citizens.

We consider Adam a man of integrity. We think Adam Kinney would be a good commissioner, not just for our own district but for the entire county.

Sincerely,

Kizzen Laki and Janet Woodman
