Editor’s note: The Crestone Eagle is running all letters of support it received for county commissioner candidate Adam Kinney and incumbent Tom McCracken as of press time. They are presented in no particular order.
To the Community:
I am writing this letter in support of Adam Kinney and his candidacy for county commissioner of District 1. I have known Adam and his family for over a decade. We have been involved in community projects together. He has participated in local governance more than anyone I know. I especially appreciate his consistent demeanor even when involved with divisive issues. He is a great listener and chooses his words well.Â
The San Luis Valley has been changing rapidly these past few years. There is a need for a changing of the guard, so to speak. The next generation of leadership is ready to move forward. Adam is a perfect example of this. He has 20 years of experience, but he is still young and extremely motivated to serve the needs of the Valley. He has lived here long enough to understand the important issues, especially regarding our most precious resource, water. I look forward to working with him in the future for our community.
It is for these reasons that I fully support Adam Kinney for the role of county commissioner.
