Wresting continues in January and the schedule will be updated in the February CCS Eaglet edition. 

Moffat Middle School boys’ basketball recap
The Moffat School Boys’ basketball season comes to an end. 

After a long and thrilling season the Moffat cowboys finished the season playing a combined 18 games ending with a record of 5-13 (A and B Teams combined). The Cowboys played hard in their end-of-season tournament placing with the A team placing 2nd and the B Team placing third. 

Both teams faced many challenges and battles throughout the season only making them closer as a team.

High School boys’ basketball December recap
The Moffat High School basketball team triumphs to a 6-1 record to begin the season. After taking first at both the Cotopaxi and South park tournaments the team notched their first loss during an away tournament in Premero. The loss was a humbling experience for the team and only pushed them to bounce back with another win, placing third overall in the tournament. The team is back at practice over break and is looking forward to their next matchup versus Creed at Mt. Valley. 

High School girls December recap
The girls’ team has had some struggles to begin the season and are continuing training to improve their record. After starting the season 0-4 the girls basketball team notched their first victory over Anonito at an away tournament in Premero. 

The team placed third overall in the tournament and are hungry for more. The girls’ team will play Creede at Mt. Valley in January.
