Roses fund trip

By Sequoia Sirois.

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, high schoolers attending Crestone Charter School (CCS) are producing a Valentine’s Single Rose fundraiser to fund the upcoming Puerto Rico trip in March.

While this fundraiser is mostly intended for CCS students, anyone in the community can participate. Community members need to come to CCS to place their order at the front desk. Roses are $5 each. Adding a card and candy is $3 extra.

Roses went on sale the last week of January and can be purchased up to Feb. 13. People who bought roses before the 13th can pick them up from CCS on Valentine’s Day.

High School Class president Sequoia Sirois and Treasurer Miles Thornsberry will be distributing purchase roses outside of CCS on Feb. 14, Valentine’s Day.
