Kinney for commissioner

Editor’s note: The primary election is June 25. The Eagle will post results to The Crestone Eagle website as soon as they are available. This is the last set of endorsements received by press time presented in alternating endorsements.

Dear Editor,

I have known Adam Kinney for over 20 years. We worked together on business initiatives, local political action and various community projects. We became good friends because we share values that hold communities together: compassion and action, among the most important. Some people aren’t loud about their opinions and lead more quietly — this is a style of leadership that I like. Thoughtful and considerate of others’ opinions and perspectives, I have seen Adam’s willingness to take a role in Crestone’s most recent divisive issues. He survived unscathed and is committed to continue to serve in the best interest of the community. I also like that Adam “does the homework” in preparing for meetings and that kind of commitment is what our county needs as well. I am asking you to vote for Adam Kinney for Saguache County commissioner when the time comes. He is ready to bring sensible leadership to all of our county employees, visitors and residents.

Sincerely, Kimberly Bryant, grateful resident of the Baca Grande for 25 years.
