Rio Grande National Forest featuring “An Upper Rio Grande Fishstory” in the next Forest Specialist Series

DEL NORTE, CO. –The Rio Grande National Forest will be presenting this month’s Forest Specialist Series on Wednesday, December 13th at 5pm. Local author and retired professor Sandra Wagner will be presenting “An Upper Rio Grande Fishstory: Historical fish stories from the Upper Rio Grande.” She’ll talk about the early days of commercial aquaculture and the development of recreational fishing in the Upper Rio Grande area.

This online event is part of the Rio Grande National Forest’s Forest Specialist Series, a once-monthly online presentation in partnership with the San Juan Mountains Association to share information with our community.
